What do guys that grow up in Detroit (Steve), Chicago (Ken), New Jersey (Kevin), Rock Island, Illinois (Frank), and Bangkok (Jeab & Kong) all have in common? HOCKEY!! Some of us had the privilege of playing and officiating in the pro ranks and ALL of us have the LOVE of the game.  The other common connection is that they all met after playing in a tournament in Bangkok.

Steve, Ken, Jeab & Kong all reside in Bangkok Thailand, Frank is in Okinawa, Japan, and unfortunately Kevin passed away in April of 2024. But the committment to bring the hockey community together in a competitive and fun experience to Asia  continues.  

The Bangkok Breakaway Classic does just that. 

We have assembled the team that allows the players, friends and family to experience the beauty of Bangkok. While hockey is the glue, The Friday night Dinner Cruise on the Chao Phraya River, A trip to The Grand Palace, A visit to Wat Arun Temple, The Night Life of Soi 4 can all be yours to enjoy.  We have structured the the tournament in a way to enjoy more than just hockey. Come enjoy with your team. Make new friends from all over the world.  All for playing the greatest sport and making the trip of a lifetime!
